Amateur photographer and writer, professional software engineer.

I studied computer science at The University of Michigan, then spent 2 years working on MobileMe and iCloud at Apple. Deciding I was ready for the startup world, I quit and joined Strobe, a startup building a platform for mobile web development. 5 months later, we were acquired by Facebook where I worked on a prototypal version of Facebook Home, the Nearby feature, the Pages product, Instagram’s Explore tab, Direct product, and Video product. I’m currently traveling the United States, exploring the people and places that give this grand country its character.
